The Trojan Women Project

The Trojan Women Project Festival, under the sponsorship of the National Endowment of the Arts, celebrates the Trojan Women Project’s five years of work with communities around the world. Festival activities will include performances of The Trojan Women, invited guest performances, long-distance exchanges using live-stream technology, art exhibits, workshops and panel discussions. Artists from Cambodia, Guatemala, Kosovo, and our local New York City community will participate in workshops, panels and performances.

La MaMa Umbria International provides artists from around the world with residency programs and intensive workshops. For nearly 20 years, La MaMa Umbria has fostered cross-cultural and international exchanges and creative collaborations. Hundreds of artists have found Umbria to be a space that is beautiful, spiritually enriching, welcoming, and open to bold artistic experiments. In the past 24 years, La MaMa Umbria’s activities have included the presentation of over thirty theatre productions as well as workshops, art exhibitions, and conferences.

Miriam served as Producing Assistant to David Diamond for the 2019 symposiums.
