Spy

in the

House of Love

What I corrupted was what is called the truth in favor of a more marvelous world.
— Anaïs Nin, A Spy in the House of Love

Adapted from Anais Nin’s erotic-psychological thriller Spy in the House of Love, Sabina is a young woman with an appetite for the world. Set in the jazz clubs and bedrooms of old New York, Sabina yearns to transgress the gendered norms of 1940s society. With each new lover, she takes on a new persona, until her cover is blown and a mysterious stranger begins to follower her. How many lies must Sabina tell in order to learn the truth about herself? And in the end, what is she really guilty of?
